Feral Kids • Artist Brand • Charm City, MD

About:

feral adjective :: existing in a natural state, as animals or plants; not domesticated or cultivated; wild.

Feral Kids is a new artist-owned brand founded in Cham City, MD. The mission is to champion the undeniable creativity of independent artists and creators by offering limited edition and small batch t-shirts, art prints, stickers a,nd more – all at affordable prices for fans and collectors! Right after the pandemic hit our area in 2020, my wife and I started brainstorming some positive ways we could use our skills to help our community. We organized a print benefit and invited a diverse group of artists we know and love to participate – and a total of 14 artists got involved. We raised over $2000 during the one-month sale and donated all the profits to the Maryland Food Bank.

After the success of the print benefit, I got to work on putting together our first wave of products featuring art by myself, along with the incredibly talented crew of artists: Carrie Rennolds, Matt Bovie & Pedro Mule. The design for the brand came together really fast—I think just following my intuition was the best compass. We launched the first wave on Kickstarter in May 2020 and we hit 100% funding in under 2 weeks. We’re working now on developing more products, expanding our fanbase, and booking spots at some great pop-up shows in and around Baltimore. In March of 2022, Feral Kids was accepted as a member of the Made In Baltimore program – an incredible network that supports makers and manufacturers in Baltimore City, connecting businesses, and helping to strengthen our local economy.
